POV DISCUSSION: I Hear Your Voice Episode 5-6

I love this show so much! I guess we’re all having a good time these few months because we have so much great dramas to watch!

I didn’t realised it when I first watched it, but now I have a vibe that this show is going for a more darker path, despite it’s sweetness. I thought that Park Soo Ha will just be the person who will help Jang Hye Sung, but now I think it’s going to be more than that.

Somehow after watching Episode 6, I realised that there is a chance that Park Soo Ha might just be the person who will be held in court and maybe Hye Sung has to defend him.

So far what we’ve watched is the relationship between the main characters (Hye Sung, Soo Ha, Cha Kwan Woo, Do Yun & Min Joon Gook). However, there’s probably more to come and their relationship with each other is much deeper. I didn’t really remember what Joon Gook said while killing Soo Ha’s dad, but there is definitely a story behind it – which we don’t know.

Hey…for all we know, maybe Do Yun’s dad is some big bad evil who ordered the death of Joon Gook’s family, or rather maybe he ordered Joon Gook to kill Soo Ha’s dad? AHAHAHA. Okay, maybe I think too far – but we never know what directions a k-drama can take! WAIT! Do Yun is not born from that family – maybe she’s the daughter of Joon Gook? Oh wait. No No~ she’s probably the daughter of the other prisoner in the jail.

The thing is – this drama is full of mystery and there is a lot of possibilities, which makes this drama so much fun. Not to mention the cuteness of Soo Ha-Hye Sung-Cha Kwan Woo relationship. They should start calling Hye Sung & Cha Kwan Woo by their name instead of Lawyer Jang & Lawyer Cha.

Putting that aside, Soo Ha must be really lonely. He can hear everyone’s thoughts – but no one can hear him. No one knows what he wants. He’s lonely and sad. And that makes us sad too😦 It’s so cute to see him having a one sided love for Hye Sung (or maybe a huge crush). It pains us to see him hurt because of that too, because Hye Sung likes Cha Kwan Woo. And it also hurts us every time Soo Ha hears a thought from someone who is talking bad about him – hurts even more when the girl he likes asked him to go away or something. OUCH.

Somehow it feels like Soo Ha is the centre of this whole drama, which is a great thing obviously, but I’m not saying that Hye Sung and Cha Kwan Woo are not the main leads. They are – just that the drama’s centre is Park Soo Ha. If you get what I mean. I don’t know how to put it in words.

So at the end of this episode, we see both Joon Gook & Soo Ha thinking hard about their next decision – and they’re sticking with their decision. Joon Gook wants to take revenge on Hye Sung, and Soo Ha wants revenge on Joon Gook. However, Soo Ha’s revenge against Joon Gook might be both because he wants to protect Hye Sung & maybe get revenge for the death of his father.

I can’t wait for the next episodes!!!

Park Soo Ha!!! Stay Safe!!!!

  1. hey I am enjoying this show as well and like you said it does have possibilities however I disagree about SH being the center its true that he is an important character but HS being the jaded lawyer who lost her old self is the main focus of the story or lets say the goal of the drama take that out the drama becomes directionless drama has potential lets hope the writer wont ruin it

    • When I say he’s the centre of the drama, I don’t mean it like he’s the star of the drama or anything.

It’s just a point of view. Because Soo Ha is probably the one who will make Hye Sung become a better person and most likely he’ll help her get together with Lawyer Cha.

I call him the centre because he’s like the ‘centre of everything’. He’s the one who “caused” Hye Sung to get involved in this and he’s the one who’ll probably make her a better person.

Not to forget that he has a special gift which might seems like a good thing at times, but is more of a curse.

So naturally, in my own personal point of view, I feel like he’s the drama centre.

Of course, people will probably agree with you that he’s not the main lead of the drama.
