Hope For Dating is a two-episode drama which revolves around 2 couples who have different views on dating, love and marriage. It stars BoA, Daniel Choi, ZE:A’s Siwan and Kim Ji Won.
It’s the first time I’m seeing BoA in a drama, and I thought her acting was pretty okay. Kim Ji Won is gorgeous (well, to me she is), and it kind of puts me off a little, that she is paired with Daniel Choi. Hahaha. I like the guy, but their age difference is there, isn’t it? She’s way too young! Oh well, but she pulled it off.
I loved the drama. It’s short and sweet, and delivers a good message across which we all could relate to. In a relationship, there’s no right or wrong. That everyone has their own views and take, and that those differences are what put all of us apart. That sometimes, feelings can change, and that sometimes, we can’t help it.
BoA finds herself chatting with an unknown man (Daniel Choi), who gives her love counselling after her failed relationship. What started off as a joke from her friend, turned into something serious. They started chatting and became good chat friends. However, that’s how far they could go. They’re both living their own lives, in their own relationships.
However, it’s hard to draw the line as what BoA expected from Siwan (her new boyfriend), is more of what she discussed with Daniel Choi. And Daniel Choi expected Kim Ji Won to be like BoA. It’s weird in a sort of way, and they kind of got carried away with their feelings that they forgot the person who they are dating.
Siwan is such a sweet guy, and he got mad at BoA who didn’t share anything about herself with him the entire time, and BoA finally understands what her ex-boyfriend must have felt like.
Oh Well, shall not spoil it too much. I find the drama really nice, and worth watching. It’s cute and sweet. Bottom line is, let things happen naturally and that you cannot avoid fate.
The last moments were priceless 🙂
