Eun Jin gets to relive her memories with Sung Soo while Mi Kyung and Jae Hak confronts a new beginning. The drama has toned down a little, and it’s not as tension-packed as it was in the first two episodes. Well, that’s what I think. However, it still manages to hold my attention because there are bitter-sweet moments of Eun Jin and Sung Soo, and we also have Mi Kyung’s and Min Soo’s interesting characters – who we’re trying to figure out.
As I’ve mentioned previously, I will not be doing recaps for this drama. One of the reasons is due to time constraint, and the main reason is actually, there is more to discuss rather than recap. I think there’s a lot to talk about this drama, but if I had to recap it, it’s a tedious process because putting the episode in writing means that I have to love the show that much. I’m not saying that I don’t love this show, I love it – but it’s not enough for me to recap it.
Discussions are more suitable because this drama gives us a lot to think about as well as a lot to guess. That’s what makes the show worth watching 🙂
THOUGHTS & DISCUSSION
So we find out that the person who followed Eun Jin is actually a guard hired by Jae Hak to protect her. Mi Kyung denies any involvement in Eun Jin’s accident and claims that she only investigated Jae Hak and not Eun Jin. I don’t think she’s lying because she doesn’t need to lie about that. However, she is a little extreme in her actions and I like that aspect of her. Of course, I meant it as a character. In reality, those people are nuts. I think her desire of perfection comes from the hurt she received when she was young as her dad had an affair. That’s why when everything doesn’t go as plan, she loses herself.
Min Soo is aware of the affair and I think he knew for quite some time already, because it doesn’t make sense that he goes inside Mi Kyung’s room and open up the drawer as if he’ s done it a couple of times. I still don’t know his true feelings towards Mi Kyung – is it pure sibling love and guilt towards Mi Kyung, or is it a crush he harboured towards her? I thought he might have have feelings for her, but let’s go the easier way and think positive. He is just taking care of Mi Kyung because he feels some sort of guilt towards Mi Kyung for being an illegitimate son, and he is thankful and loves her as a sister.
Min Soo…could he be the one behind Eun Jin’s accident? He’s actually my No.1 suspect because he is very protective of Mi Kyung, and I wouldn’t put it pass him that he won’t be able to do such a thing. However, a huge part of me hopes that he’s not behind it because I love him so much. Hah.
And of course the biggest reason why I don’t want Min Soo to be behind the accident, is because I want him to be with Eun Young. I love their exchanges, and it’s so hilarious that Eun Young loses every time. However, even if he is not behind the accident, it will be difficult path if both of them get together, because Eun Young’s sister is the one who is causing Mi Kyung’s misery. Eun Young explains to Min Soo that the guy he saw before is her brother, and Min Soo asks why is there a need to explain and if she likes him. She denies and says that he doesn’t fit in the criteria for her to fall in love with him. He agrees with her, and says that she doesn’t match his criteria also. There’s a rumour saying that a guard working in the bank is the son of CEO, and Eun Young thinks that it’s Min Soo.
She calls Min Soo a rich guy as no guys in this generation would want a wife who doesn’t have a job, and Min Soo mentions that the rumours are false. He says that he got here thanks to his bro-in-law, and that he’s an orphan. He adds in that there is a birth secret as well. Eun Young continues and say that his mother must be the second and involved in a messy love line with the “CEO”, and Min Soo continues and says that only his mother is the second is true. Min Soo says that because of all these, he wants a normal marriage with a normal girl. She is taken aback and asks if she is getting dumped, and he explains that they dumped each other. Hah.
I love this two 🙂 Min Soo is honest about his life and background – and it makes me keep going back and forth if he is the one behind the accident.
Sung Soo is doing his best to change, and Eun Jin is both touched and guilty. I’m not sure if she still loves Jae Hak more that Sung Soo, but I really want her to try her best with Sung Soo because that dude is doing everything he can to make their relationship work again.
Next week’s preview looked interesting and I can’t wait for more Min Soo and Eun Young’s interaction 🙂
