Episode 2 made me burst into tears, and yet at the same time throw me into a deeper confusion. It seems like everyone is not exactly related to each other, but somehow it feels like their lives are going to be intertwined with each others’.
We find out that the body which was discovered in Episode 1 was indeed Saet Byul. However, there were a lot of question marks in this episode, and it left me with a lot of confusion.
I’m not saying that in a bad way – it’s a good thing actually. There’s a great amount of things we don’t know, and that’s part of the fun 🙂
THOUGHTS & DISCUSSION
Soo Hyun acted on her own to meet the ‘kidnapper’ with the ransom money and chase after him when she realizes that the child he showed her wasn’t Saet Byul. He kicked and stepped on her, but she holds on to his leg tightly until he was caught. However, he isn’t the kidnapper.
Soo Hyun goes on broadcast, pleading with the kidnapper to release Saet Byul – and when the news came out that Saet Byul’s belongings were found, Soo Hyun changes and says that if he hurts Saet Byul, she will chase him to the end of the Earth and kill him.
Ji Hoon tells her that he will live somewhere else in the meantime, and he did blame her to a certain extent regarding Saet Byul’s death as Soo Hyun went for tea with Woo Jin instead of dropping off Saet Byul. Oh, he knew he was her first love?
Young Gyu sits outside the villa, and believes that Saet Byul isn’t dead. I don’t think Young Gyu is the killer, but there’s got to be more to him, rather than just him right? Maybe the camera he owes may have clues to the murder? Or maybe he knows the real killer?
Dong Chan has been having dreams of his brother throwing the body into the lake as that’s what he saw and he became the witness – but did his brother really killed the person? I don’t know how his brother has got anything to do with Soo Hyun or Saet Byul, but I have a strange feeling that they might be connected somehow, or intertwined together in future once Soo Hyun goes back in time.
The blood on Dong Chan’s jacket – could it possibly be Saet Byul’s? He got it while fighting outside a club, but Saet Byul died in a river – so I don’t know how these two can be connected, but there was a hairpin in his back pocket, and all these questions are popping up in my head, but there are no answers right now.
And the moment when the three of them (Soo Hyun, Dong Chan, Dong Ho) has a brush with death. We don’t know if they’ll die since we’ll find out in Episode 3, but all three of them faced death at the same time – and I’m just wondering how are all of them connected to each other?
I know that when Soo Hyun goes back to the past, Dong Chan will be helping her find Saet Byul, but how does that got to do with Dong Ho? Maybe Dong Ho really didn’t kill the person back then, and while helping out Soo Hyun, perhaps Dong Chan will find out some truth about that as well?
Ji Hoon also made a call to Soo Hyun saying that he found Saet Byul’s killer and is going to kill him. WAIT. WHAT? HOW?
What were those pictures he received? Could it possibly be Saet Byul when she was kidnapped? Or was it his secret? And what is the secret he’s hiding?
