I absolutely love this drama. It’s so interesting, and exciting with a little bit of creepiness~ We move back 14 Days, and there were quite a few things which I unexpected.
Soo Hyun and Dong Chan finally cross paths, and they will no longer treat each other as a stranger, because their lives is already intertwined with each others’.
I won’t be doing recaps for this series, dramabeans is doing the recaps, so you can check them out there. I’m just going to do discussions~
THOUGHTS & DISCUSSIONS
Back from where we left off, we see that Soo Hyun was underwater, and some mysterious green light was all around her before she wakes up to find herself by the lake. She noticed that the storage is locked up, and there wasn’t Saet Byul’s drawing on the wall. She also receives a call from her daughter.
I’m surprised by the time-travel method, because we’ve seen a couple of time-travel methods in recent dramas, and this is as simple as it gets. However, we might find out more about why and how she time-travelled in future.
She goes home, and Saet Byul gave her a surprise, and Soo Hyun is just shocked that Saet Byul is alive. She realizes something is amiss, and everything is happening as what happened previously. The picture she took previously with Saet Byul at the cafe creeps her out when Saet Byul is no longer in the picture.
Soo Hyun throws away the clothes Saet Byul supposedly wears when she got kidnapped, but the clothes got back into her husband’s hand. She tries to bring Saet Byul to Hawaii, but due to an allergy, the plane turned back to Incheon airport. Soo Hyun remembers the lady’s word that no matter how she tries to run away, destiny will follow. She decides to fight with destiny.
Soo Hyun gets questioned in a police station when she appears at a crime scene and knows exactly what the victim wore and her position when she died. There, Dong Chan was accusing the thugs of attempting of killing him by throwing him in the lake with a stone.
He sees Soo Hyun and says that she is a witness, however she denies knowing anything. We also find out that he was the one who saved her in the lake.
A~ha! Young Gyu is Dong Ho’s son, which makes him Dong Chan’s nephew~There was a flashback of when Dong Chan remembers his past – his mother was calling out Young Gyu’s name, who is at the rooftop being held hostage, and Dong Chan shoots. Both the man and Young Gyu fell backwards – but we don’t know who got hit by the bullet.
Well, I assume the bullet might have injured both of them, and that’s why Young Gyu is in his current state, or maybe the trauma made him into his current state. We won’t know till much later I guess? Whatever it is – it must have been something which made Dong Chan quit his job as a top crime detective.
Dong Chan realizes that something is seriously weird and that he has came back to the past. However, it quickly turns into joy when he knows that the old man at his house is still alive and there is a chance for him to get his money.
Soo Hyun asks Dong Chan for help since he knows that her daughter died, and both of them are the only one who is aware that they moved back 14 days before the incident. Dong Chan refuses to help her and chases her out.
He remembers Saet Byul and thinks about Dong Ha, and if he manages to save Saet Byul, then maybe Dong Ha doesn’t have to die.
So Dong Chan helps Soo Hyun is preventing the 2nd murder by looking out for the girl with the skull top. Soo Hyun realizes she is at the wrong place, and moves to another bar where she saw the real 2nd victim of the murder.
OMG. This drama is just getting more and more awesome, and I love it at how it throws things unexpectedly to me. I never thought Dong Chan would move back to the past 14 days! However, it’s great having a comrade, because you’re basically not the only ‘crazy’ one around.
And I never expected the murderer to threaten her so soon. Is that really the murderer? Maybe not. It might just be someone, and the murders might not necessarily be done by just one person. Maybe by a secret organisation? Okay – maybe I’m just thinking too much.
I’m just excited at how Soo Hyun and Dong Chan are going to work together to save both her daughter, and his brother. And since both of them moved back 14 days, I’m wondering if Dong Ha moved back 14 days before the incident as well? And how will Soo hyun and Dong Chan’s relationship change?
What about Soo Hyun’s husband? What exactly is the secret he’s hiding…and how is his relationship with Soo Hyun going to change?
I just need more and more episodes 🙂
