Alright – I love this one 🙂
Big Man has been amazing for the past four episodes, and I really love this drama. It has a good amount of humour, and at the same time has all the tension you would expect from a company-related drama, yet also have all the warm qualities as well.
I didn’t expect it to be this good, and I’m glad it turned out better than what I expected. The villains are so easy to hate, and it’s just so addictive and entertaining.
I WANT MOREEEEE.
THOUGHTS & DISCUSSION
Kim Ji Hyuk gets involved in a conspiracy by Kang Sung Wook, who placed him in their family registry so that he could get a heart transplant for Kang Dong Suk. His plan failed, when Ji Hyuk wakes up before the heart transplant surgery, and he plans to get rid of Ji Hyuk.
The plot moves so fast – and I’m hooked.
First of all – OMG. Kang Sung Wook & Choi Yoon Jung (Dong Suk’s parents) are SO EVIL. How can they talk about killing someone so easily?! I know they want to save their son, but to talk about killing off a perfectly normal stranger just so that their son can live, is just so sick – I wonder if they’re mentally ill? Hahahaha.
I mean – I know they’re rich, and yes they can be arrogant and all that – but to talk about killing off someone so easily is just so…you guys know what I mean, right? K-dramas need to stop making rich chaebols into psychos who talk about death so easily. Hahahaha.
And cheating Ji Hyuk, and convincing him, he is their son is so unforgivable – I can’t wait till they get what they deserve.
She is tempted to kill off Ji Hyuk at first – to save Dong Suk, but she never managed to do it. She ends up working by his side, and finds it difficult to keep Ji Hyuk in the dark about the real truth.
And we also have Kang Jin Ah – who is confused by the appearance of Ji Hyuk, who is said to be her brother. We all know, she’ll probably like him and it will just be so wrong to both her and him – as they both think they’re siblings, even though everyone else knows they’re not.
However, Kang Sung Wook & Choi Yoon Jung probably had no idea how dangerous their plan was – and obviously it will backfire. Once Jin Ah starts to develop feelings (halfway there), they’ll probably feel unsafe – because their daughter is around, technically, a stranger.
Even when he sent her home, Sung Wook is surprised that Jin Ah called him out. Oh well, once Jin Ah finds out what her parents had plot, she would probably hate her parents for it – how they planned to killed a normal human being, how they made someone unrelated to her a brother and she couldn’t love him, etc. (This are all my guesses, or rather my wishes. Hah.)
And Do Sang Ho likes Jin Ah. That’s sad – because she once liked him a lot too (not necessarily in a romantic way), but he has changed from what he used to be. I think it’s sweet – she may or may not have liked him in a romantic way. Maybe she liked him, but knew her parents would never approve – or she likes him because he was just a good and sincere person to her back then.
I don’t really think he’s naturally evil – because I don’t know, I just find it cute that he likes her. AHAHAHA. But yeah, I know he’ll probably in a pain in Ji Hyuk’s ass.
Did Ji Hyuk really brought the bribe with him?! It was a trap set up by Manager Do and Fake Dad – but I trust Ji Hyuk is not that dumb to do such a thing.
Ji Hyuk is ignorant of the company and the truth, and is unpredictable – but he has a good heart, and he always ends up doing the right thing, though it wasn’t his intention from the start. It’s cute and endearing.
Maybe he replaced the gold bars inside that box with something else, which can’t be called a bribe.
As to Dong Suk returning, maybe he woke up but is not fully recovered yet and is already aware of Ji Hyuk’s existence.
From the previews, it looked like he asked Mi Ra to marry him, but she tells him to give her time. YESH! Ji Hyuk is starting to grow on Mi Ra, more so because he is sincere and honest, you can’t help it but like him as a person. This whole conspiracy seems wrong to her, and she is hesitant is moving ahead for reasons we’ll probably know next time.
Okay – That’s about it for now.
I NEED MORE EPISODES.
