Okay – I’m on board this one🙂 The first two episodes was a mix of comedy and suspense, and I liked what I see.
I wasn’t that excited about this because I’m not really a fan of Go Ara, but I’m giving her a chance since she grew on me a little since Reply 1994. It helps a lot that Cha Seung Won, Lee Seung Gi & Ahn Jae Hyun are all in it – plenty of eye candy for me🙂
And the storyline is interesting, and so are the characters – and I’m just basically SOLD. I think the drama would be fun throughout, and might get a little heavier as episodes progresses because we’re dealing with detectives and murders which happened in the past, but I’m all in🙂
THOUGHTS & DISCUSSION
We start off being introduced to Seo Pan Suk, a detective who is trying to bring a case to trial and convict a suspect by the help of a witness. The witness is Kim Ji Yong’s mother, who gets threatened if she does take the witness stand.
He calls Seo Pan Suk and tells him about the pendant he found, which is in his school jacket – and Seo Pan Suk said he’ll be there at the school to pick him up. However, the murderer arrives at the school instead.
After running away and fighting off the murderer, the murderer drops the pendant – and Ji Yong is surprised. He thinks back of Seo Pan Suk and thinks that Seo Pan Suk is probably working for the murderer.
I don’t think Seo Pan Suk is a traitor – but maybe there was a traitor around him back then, that’s why the murderer got back his pendant and managed to find Ji Yong at the school.
But we know that Dae Goo holds a deep grudge for Seo Pan Suk – and it will be interesting to see how it all unfolds in the future.
As of now, I like how everything is being set-up, and the characters are interesting. Four different rookies together growing to be proper detectives? YES, I’M SOLD. I think it will be nice seeing how the same young rookie detectives who has completely no experience, slowly turn into people who can really be called detectives and protect the citizens.
And yes. EYE CANDY.
And of course Cha Seung Won & Lee Seung Gi battling it out? That’s perfect~
