After two weeks, finally we get to see Episode 3!!!! It’s really sad that they’re only airing one episode per week😦
Seul Bi is now studying in the same class, and more characters are slowly being introduced, while we get to see the other characters being fleshed out a little bit more. I love everything so far, but there’s just one thing bugging me. I hope that the drama doesn’t go in a direction where we get introduced to a random, or minor character in each episode who runs into a problem, and Seul Bi/ Woo Hyun ends up helping that person.
I mean – it’s totally fine to have those scenes – but please drama, not every episode, okay? The memories of Nail Shop Paris is still so fresh in my head – and I don’t want another potential drama being ruined by sub-plots which doesn’t help the main story or the characters development at all.
This drama, as of now, is very fun and engaging – but I hope it doesn’t loses itself while showing scenes of school life, and kids in the school. I mean – I’m not exactly in this drama to watch a high school drama, but rather to watch an angel who is adapting to become human. So I’m hoping for more reveals or mysteries on why she became a human🙂
Oh, and I can no longer promise recaps for future episodes – it takes too much of my time😦 I would most probably just stick to doing discussions instead. Sorry.
DO NOT TAKE OUT THIS RECAP.
So Woo Hyun fell inside the pool and struggles. Seul Bi enters the pool and tries to pull Woo Hyun, but Woo Hyun is panicking which makes it difficult for Seul Bi. Sung Yeol, who walks pass and overhears the male bullies (I can’t remember the names very well…) comes by the pool and pulls both Seul Bi and Woo Hyun up. He tells Woo Hyun to regain his senses and tells him that his feet could touch the ground, before swimming away.
Ji Hye looks at her pendant, and Woo Jin enters the room. He tells her that he’s sorry about Sung Yeol’s behavior and he had no idea he would still miss his mother. Ji Hye tells him that it’s a given and Sung Yeol would probably miss her forever, and tells Woo Jin to let his mother meet him often.
They walk pass the convenience shop, and Sung Yeol asks Seul Bi if she remembers this place. She says she does, and it was really cold that night. He asks where she stays and offers to send her home, but Woo Hyun mentions they live in the same neighborhood and pulls her along to leave. Seul Bi waves at Sung Yeol.
Woo Hyun realizes that his necklace is missing, and tries looking for it everywhere. Grandmother tells him that she will get a new one for him, and Woo Hyun burst out in anger that it’s different. Seul Bi helps Grandmother to eat medicine to calm down, and does Young Eun’s homework. Grandmother asks her if she can teach Woo Hyun his studies, and she questions if he’s bad even at studies. Grandmother asks if she wants to attend school.
Seul Bi goes to the school to enroll, and a random guy pops up in front of her, saying that he has the completed forms and tell her to exchange the documents. She eyes him suspiciously, and he laughs and comments that she’s acting like a real human now even suspecting others. He shows her the documents, which is really filled with her details and exchange it with hers.
She saw Sunbae outside and is happy. The random stranger tells her that he had reminded her to stay away from boys. He looks at Sunbae and avoid his gaze before mumbling to her that if people sees that she is talking to air, they will think she’s crazy and lock her away. He walks off.
Sunbae asks if everything is okay, and Seul Bi says that it’s fine. Sunbae asks if she intends on being human forever, which she argues that it’s only temporary till she finds a way back. Sunbae burst out saying that how would he know if she ended up in this state because she saved Woo Hyun or because she really wanted to become human. Seul Bi tries to hold his hand, but he disappears.
Woo Hyun is still thinking about his necklace when Male Bully comes by and apologizes for not saving him yesterday. He tells Woo Hyun that he would buy all the rice cakes from his shop, and Woo Hyun replies that he doesn’t know if there would be any left for him anyway. Male Bully grabs his hair and asks if he should chew Woo Hyun instead, and Woo Hyun shakes and open the can drink in front of his face.
Woo Hyun tries to drag her out – but she introduces herself as a new student in the class and she’s living with Woo Hyun. She tells the students to come by their place and she would give them extra rice cakes, before pointing out at Male Bully and tells him not to come as they have the right to deny service as well.
She voices out that she wants to sit beside Woo Hyun, and Male Bully tells the student beside Woo Hyun to move seats, before whispering to Woo Hyun, “Orientation.”
Woo Hyun asks Seul Bi if she’s stupid and doesn’t realize that they are picking on her. She doesn’t understand why and mentions that it must be tough being a human as they bleed so easily. Woo Hyun stuffs the tissue into her nose, and she struggles as she tries to breathe through her mouth. She rants that it’s suffocating and don’t human die from being unable to breathe, and Woo Hyun comments that they don’t die that easily. The teacher sneaks behind them, and Seul Bi smiles when she saw him. He punishes them for skipping class and dating.
