NOOOOOO IT ENDED TT_TT
I have so much to say, but putting all my emotions about this drama into words, still doesn’t do the drama justice. This drama is no doubt, one of the best dramas I’ve watched, and it will probably remain as one of my top favorites and I would remember it for a long long time.
Of course – the drama isn’t perfect. There are flaws here and there, but the amazing story, chemistry and acting by the casts – it made the drama a very unforgettable piece.
Now that the drama is over, I hope the casts all get enough rest, especially Ji Sung since he lost his voice while filming😦 On the bright side, he can look forward to his baby in a 2-3 months time (i think?).
Anyway, I know I’m being greedy but maybe 1 year from now…. can we have another Ji Sung-Hwang Jung Eum reunion? Ahhh. This on-screen pairing is just pure magic and it’s sad if we can’t see them paired up again😥
THOUGHTS & DISCUSSION
Let’s talk about what I didn’t really like first. I thought Kim Yoo Ri was totally wasted in the drama as Chae Yun. Not just her, even Oh Min Suk as Cha Ki Joon felt like such a waste in the drama. Of course, I don’t blame the writer at all – because the drama focuses a lot on Cha Do Hyun and his other personalities, there is barely screentime for the other characters. And – I still prefer lead screentime over supporting characters screentime. Hah.
Initially, I didn’t really like the idea of the company and the succession battle – but I understand it’s necessary because there has to be a reason why Do Hyun is in Korea, and fighting to keep his secret.
Lastly, the ending – how his dad finally woke up and seek forgiveness, and how his grandmother finally accepted Do Hyun. Is it just me who finds it weird that someone who woke up from a coma of years and asked for forgiveness? I mean – there would have been a huge confusion over the time passed and all – but since it’s the last episode, I understand there is no time for all that.
And throughout the series, Grandmother hated Do Hyun – we all felt this. And all of a sudden she’s so nice, and I’m like…..okay. But yup, last episode, so forgiven. As long as the last episode isn’t as ridiculous as God’s Gift 14 Days, everything can be forgiven. Hahaha.
That’s about it for my dislikes – it’s really nothing much though, because I loved the drama a lot – so so much🙂
I loved how the drama showed the other personalities leaving – and I cried a whole lot too. It’s those kind of moments where it can go so wrong, but it didn’t thankfully, and drama remained awesome till the very end.
Perry Park was the first to leave – and it’s so cute how Ri Jin got all of them gifts. I loved Perry Park a lot, and I really wanted him to appear more but there isn’t enough screentime for all of them, and I understand that. In the end it’s all Ji Sung, so I don’t really have an issue. Hahaha.
AHN YO NA😦She leaves like a boss, like she always was – after drawing on Ri Jin’s face and taking a picture. But of course, without forgetting to thank Ri Jin. It was such a sweet moment, and I was crying like mad because Yo Na is leaving </3 Yo Na has served us well, and was such an adorable personality.
I cried, really a lot. Shin Se Gi, was obviously my most favorite personality. He was charming and he did whatever he wants to without caring about others, though he is a little violent. Okay, maybe not a ‘little’ violent.
He was the character with the strong desire to live, to have his own life and time – to have Ri Jin, but the fact that he can’t makes it so sad, despite him and Do Hyun being the same person. And of course, there isn’t a greater gift that Ri Jin herself – and that kiss was so sweet and heart-wrenching at the same time.
“Did Ri Jin loved Se Gi?” I asked myself this a few times, and I think she did. Se Gi, is a part of Do Hyun – and I think she loved him all the same, like how she loves Do Hyun. Or at least, I’m going to think this way forever.
Anyway, the drama wrapped up nicely with Ri Jin back at her job, and Ri On is still hiding his identity as ‘Omega’ and uses another name to flirt with girls. So happens that the girl he find attractive is named Ahn Yo Na. AHAHAHA. It’s going to remain a scar for life xDD
Do Hyun is working at Ri Jin’s parents, still under the name Perry. It would have been nice, if they had come out in the open about his identity already.
I wished they had showed what happened to Chae Yun, because even though she started out arrogant – I really wanted a happy ending for her too.
And we even had the proper closure for Ri On. Throughout the drama, I have been thinking whether is he in love with her as man, or just as a brother – and I think Park Seo Joon is amazing in his role and how he portrayed his character.
At certain times, he felt like a man, but you can never put the blame on him because being her brother, his actions are always rational and it’s hard to draw the line whether he is being a man or a brother.
It’s nice to know for sure – that indeed he liked Ri Jin as a woman, and he had thought about the possibilities about how Do Hyun and Ri Jin could have been the twins – and he could have been the man to Ri Jin.
Again, the writer is amazing because even though we had instances where we thought there might a small and slight possibility of Do Hyun and Ri Jin being siblings – I never thought from Ri On’s perspective on how Do Hyun and Ri Jin being siblings would affect him differently.
Ri On loved Ri Jin as a woman, but kept his boundaries as a brother and never crossed the line. In the end, he choose to be a brother to her because that’s what she wants.
“Could Ri Jin possibly be aware of Ri On’s feelings towards Ri Jin?” I asked myself. Most probably yes. Ri Jin was never the ignorant female lead – in fact, she was really fast to catch on in most situations and it would be strange if she didn’t know. She even knew that back in school, the guy who she liked was dating another girl and Ri On protected her. And she is a psychologist.
Ri Jin loved Ri On as well, a whole lot – but as her brother. Ri On was just a great support for Ri Jin, and I understand from her point of view that she wouldn’t want that to change in any way – and I believe Ri On feels the same way, despite liking her as a woman.
Okay that’s about it.
A big applause to the writer, the director and production team behind the drama, all the casts for delivery such an amazing drama and leaving us an unforgettable memory.
Ji Sung was the main star, no doubt – his amazing portrayal of the different and distinct personalities have only gain praises. I’m so glad he took on this role. I’ve watched his dramas since ‘Save the last dance for me”, and I’m a big fan of his🙂 Of course, there has been 2-3 drama which I didn’t really like, but with KMHM, I’m glad that more people have came to know about him and his acting abilities.
Hwang Jung Eum and Park Seo Joon was amazing in their own roles as well.
I really want another Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum on-screen reunion!!!! CAN WE HAVE THAT PLEASE? Not now…maybe in a year’s time or 2 years time? Ji Sung needs to get ready to be a Dad soon🙂
No one can deny the strong chemistry between Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum. I’ve watched countless dramas, and there has been countless cute pairings, and some with hot chemistry as well – but no one can beat the chemistry Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum brings on screen. It’s pure electrifying. Just magic. Hahahaha.
And I’m really amazed at Park Seo Joon’s ability to pick out good projects. I’ve watched all of his dramas, except for Family – and I think we can all look forward to his future projects. It’s not just his ability to pick out good roles for himself, but his acting itself is really good – and I’m just excited to see what new roles he would play in future🙂
Last but not least…….
A BIG THANK YOU AGAIN FOR EVERYONE WHO MADE KILL ME HEAL ME POSSIBLE. IT WAS SUCH A PRECIOUS AMAZING DRAMA🙂
